Made of Tempranillo and Garnacha from vineyards located in Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa, and Rioja Oriental. Faithful to the house’s winemaking style, dating back to 1902, it seeks the best expression of the different zones of Rioja that are present in it.
Medium-depth, garnet cherry red with a purple hue. Red fruit (raspberries), violet flowers, and liquorice, typical of the Garnacha and Tempranillo varieties. Notes of spices with hints of roasted coffee, vanilla, and coconut.
A Pleasant entry, with light, highly polished tannins. Well balanced, with hints of fruit and good persistence.
It pairs nicely with creamy and medium-aged cheeses. It also goes perfectly with sausages, mushrooms, legume dishes or a traditional Spanish potato; not forgetting the classic pairing of charbroiled meat and Rioja Crianza.
