Hellers launched a competition to find NZ’s Next Top Sausage and the ‘New Yorker Porker’ was picked out of nearly 2,000 entries. The winning recipe encompassed everything that Hellers were looking for, and its balanced combination of BBQ pork, honey, onion, garlic, chilli and paprika has been a huge hit with consumers.
It is best cooked by frying, grilling or barbecuing on medium heat turning often until the outside is golden brown. Juices should run clear.
