Italian Pancetta Piacentina DOP

Pancetta Piacentina DOP appears with a cylindrical shape, slightly rounded at the extremities. The external surface is dig by stitches, which are made manually with a twine. The color outside is brown, but not too dark, while inside it distinguishes for the presence of many concentric layers red and white, which create particular drawings.

The taste of Pancetta Piacentina DOP is inimitable, thanks to the union of the sweetness of meat and the slightly salty and spiced taste of the external part. At the palate, in fact, we can easily distinguish the scent of spices, in particular of pepper and cloves, which penetrate inside meat thanks to the massaging of pancetta.
